Fresh from the oven, we managed to get a copy of Cassper Nyovest’s second studio project – Refiloe. The album is a follow-up of his debut album ‘Tsholofelo’ which managed to score platinum in its year of release – 2014.
Taking a look at the entire tracklist of ‘Refiloe’ you can tell this is a jam-packed series. As expected the album opens up with an intro ‘Pelo Yaka’ and follows with mellow tracks that still represents Cassper’s style; Strive, Mmangwane and Refiloe. The entire style of album represents more of what Cassper has offered on the first project, with more maturity on lyrical content, introduction of new style and still accommodating that motswako feel.
Our pick for the super tracks which will pick more plays includes the obvious Mama I Made which is a hit already, other includes War Ready, Bheki’Ndaba Zakho, 428 to LA, No Worries and Cooking In Da Kitchen featuring The Game which is already a buzz right now. The last applaud has to be the selection of featured artists on the album , brand new with more versatility ; DJ Drama, Casey Veggies, Stoneboy, Mahotella Queens, Black Motion and more.
