As anticipated, MTV Base is set to reveal the list of SA’s Hottest Mcs next week. Set to air on Thursday 26 & Friday 27 November , the show will be hosted by joined by a panel of entertainment heavyweights. This year’s panel will include Loyiso Gola, T’bo Touch, Fred Kayembe, Ms Cosmo, Vukile Zondi, Slikour and Melanie Triegaardt.
After last year’s game-changing countdown ignited a social media firestorm, trending worldwide for 2 days, MTV Base anticipates huge interest in the 2015 list as the year’s biggest hip hop players are analysed and rated by a panel of industry experts.
The panel lists will judge artists on a range of criteria including sales, style, impact, lyrics, buzz and other intangible factors.
A full 1 hour special will air on Saturday 28 November at 11:00 CAT as part of the “Hottest MCs Takeover Weekend” on MTV Base.
