ASICS is closing out its 25th Anniversary celebration of the GEL-Lyte III – by paying tribute to Ronnie Fieg, the NYC-based designer who played a major role in leading the split-tongued trend with his attack of collaborations that date back to 2006.
The KITH founder celebrates the GEL-Lyte III’s 25th anniversary with a “Homage” also known as the “What The Fieg” colorway, which sees the iconic sneaker rendered in a mashup of his favourite ASICS colourways. The right sneaker flaunts various hues of blue with touches of blue, red, gold and even denim, while its counterpart features a lighter medley of colours like salmon pink, teal and light green across a blue base.
The Ronnie Fieg x ASICS Gel Lyte III “Homage” will drop Tomorrow, [Thursday, 24 December 2015] at Shelflife store in Cape Town [in-store release] at 10am…The retail price tag is set at R3799.00.
