We only counting weeks since the launch of Netflix in South Africa, and it seems the fees for the service will be raking up soon.
The monthly subscription of the service is set to increase later this year. But the costs will only affect a few of it’s users. Netflix sent a reminder to its users on Tuesday that on second half of this year, many subscribers who are still on the $7.99 per month tier will be bumped up to $9.99 per month, meaning you’ll have to pay $24 more each year.
But if you would like to settle for the $7.99 subscription fee you can still, but you will be limited to watch all shows in standard definition not HD, further you’ll only be using the service on one screen at a time.
