Microsoft has confirmed it has purchased SwiftKey, the company which created the well known predictive keyboard app (SwiftKey).
It is not disclosed on how much the deal is worth, but Financial Times reports that Microsoft was looking to pay in the region of $250 million for the startup.
SwiftKey gained more reputation when it introduced the app on Android platform for smartphones and tablets. Then later got introduced on iOS. The keyboard simply saves you time when typing by learning your writing style over time and even predicts the next word before you even finish typing it.
