The SAMAs are back again for 2016 and this year there’s major changes. The 22nd Annual South African Music Awards (SAMAs) will take place on 04 June moving to a new venue being the Durban International Convention Centre (Durban ICC).
Says Refiloe Ramogase, Chairman of the SAMAs: “We are delighted with our new partnership with the very progressively minded Ethekwini Municipality. This marks a fresh chapter in South Africa’s premier music Music Award show! A chapter in which we shall build on the Annual South African Music Award’s solid, respected heritage and proud legacy with a renewed youthful vibrancy.”
Nominees for the 22nd Annual South African Music Awards will be announced in April.
