He’s a retired NBA legend and he’s still making loads and loads money….Forbes has revealed that Michael Jordan still holds the title as the highest-paid retired athlete.
It is revealed that he made $110 million in 2015 standing with a net-worth of around $1.1 billion all thanks to Air Jordan sneakers and his stake in the Charlotte Hornets. Kurt Badenhausen of Forbes reports that Jordan will still make at least $30 million more than any other athlete, retired or otherwise, this year.
His Air Jordan sneaker line with Nike has become a powerhouse with annual sales estimated at $2.5 billion and a market share of 58 percent, as reported by Jessica Golden of CNBC, citing figures from SportsOneSource, in late 2014.
