Samsung & BlackBerry are the most popular smartphones in SA

You might still be asking yourself on what smartphones are dominating in SA….Well research shows Samsung and BlackBerry are still the kings when it comes to most popular smartphones in South Africa.

A report by BusinessTech shows that Samsung leads with 41% in market share followed by BlackBerry with 13% then Apple comes third with 6%.

The report further reveals that usage of smartphones is not only a beneficial factor for personal use but also dominating in business space.

32% of respondents spend more than 3 hours a day on their mobile device, and 19% spend more than 5 hours.

39% of respondents admit to using their phone to access the Internet while in the bathroom, and 12% while driving.
