It’s that time of the year when multiple radio stations shuffle the on-air lineup. Now for 2016 , Joburg youth station – YFM will once again make major changes to their on air lineup. Below we give you a roundup of what’s new at YFM:
– Linda Mbuso who has been hosting various weekend slots has left the station and has now joined 5FM to host weekdays morning slot (01H00-05H00)
– DJ Ankletap will no longer be doing the breakfast slot, which will now be hosted by Smash Afrika. Smash Afrika was previously hosting 03H00 – 06H00 slot.
Ankletap will be taking over the 18H00-21H00 weekdays which was previously hosted by DJ Lusky
– Anathi who has been hosting the 00H00 – 03H00 weekdays slot, will now host the 03H00-6H00 weekdays slot.
– Thuliza Kanzi & Khutso Theledi who took over the afternoon drive from Mo Flava in 2015, will no longer be on the slot. From April the slot will be hosted by DJ Sabby and Tshepi mabs who were hosting the midday day show
– Ayanda MVP who has been hosting the 10H00-12H00 weekdays slot is set to get the midday slot which was hosted DJ Sabby
– MeLo will now take on the 10H00-12H00 weekdays slot which was previously hosted by Ayanda MVP
– And lastly YFM YTKO will present DJ Zan D, Dj Zai Maya, Lebza TheVillain and new members Dj Candii and Dj Speedsta
