It has been revealed that Radio personality Thomas Msengana (Bad Boy T) is saying goodbye to 5FM after serving his duties for 6 years on the station.
In a statement, he said ; ‘It’s been absolutely amazing working at 5FM all these years and I have enjoyed growing with the station. I have reached a point in my career where I find myself having to say goodbye to the station and to pursue other endeavours.’
Thomas hosted the 07:00 AM – 10:00 AM weekends slot.
Another 5FM jock ; DJ Warras is reportedly leaving the station by end of this month allegedly for not finding massive growth on the platform. On the other side it is further reported that Warras will be hosting Man Cave which will be aired on SABC 3 next Sunday. He still has duties at SABC 1 as LIVE Amp host. Warras hosted weekdays 07:00 PM – 10:00 slot with Tumi Voster.
Other changes at the station are on the weekend lineup; where Euphonik and DJ Fresh will host their new show ‘FeU Nights’on 21:00 – 23:00, while Euphonik’s ‘My House’ on Sundays will move earlier to an earlier slot 17:00 – 19:00.
A new face on the station is Linda Mbuso, who left YFM last month and now hosts 01:00 AM – 05:00 AM weekdays slot.
