Winter season will bring another series of blockbusters movies in our cinemas. So to keep you entertained on this one, we have compiled a list of 10 movies you should look out for between May and August month.
Looking at the list, we have comedy with Kevin Hart and The Rock on ‘Central Intelligence’, the action list presents Jason Statham, Matt Damon and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. We also have a local pick ‘Mrs Right Guy’ which stars Dineo Moeketsi, Thapelo Mokoena, Thando Thabethe and more. Well here is the list:
Central Intelligence

“Central Intelligence” follows a one-time bullied geek who grew up to be a lethal CIA agent (Johnson), coming home for his high school reunion. Claiming to be on a top-secret case, he enlists the help of the former “big man on campus” (Hart), now an accountant who misses his glory days. But before the staid numbers-cruncher realizes what he’s getting into it’s too late to get out, as his increasingly unpredictable new friend drags him through a world of shoot-outs, double-crosses and espionage that could get them both killed in more ways than he can count.
Mrs Right Guy

’Mrs Right Guy.’ This romantic comedy film tells a story of a young woman (Gugu played by Dineo Moeketsi) who rejects love long before it can get too close to rock her self-imposed exile from love, but to find bliss with the right guy she must first realise that no man is created equal, and that in love nice guys have staying power. ‘Mrs Right Guy’ was directed by Adze Uga and features a-list cast; Dineo Moeketsi, Thapelo Mokoena, Thando Thabethe, Lehasa Moloi, Tau Maserumule, Boity Thulo and more.
X-Men: Apocalypse

Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” director Bryan Singer returns with “X-Men: Apocalypse.” Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows

The turtles spring into action to battle Shredder (Brian Tee), mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry), Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams), Rocksteady (Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly) and the notorious Krang (Fred Armisen).

The Legend of Tarzan

Star Trek Beyond

The first leg of the USS Enterprise’s five year mission takes them into uncharted territory. There the Enterprise is nearly destroyed and strands Kirk and his crew on a remote planet with no means of communication. Kirk must then work with the elements to reunite his crew and get back to Earth.
Jason Bourne
Initial release: 29 July
Matt Damon returns to his most iconic role in “Jason Bourne.” Paul Greengrass, the director of “The Bourne Supremacy” and “The Bourne Ultimatum,” once again joins Damon for the next chapter of Universal Pictures’ Bourne franchise, which finds the CIA’s most lethal former operative drawn out of the shadows.
For “Jason Bourne,” Damon is joined by Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel and Tommy Lee Jones, while Julia Stiles reprises her role in the series.
Mechanic: Resurrection
Initial release: 26 August
Arthur Bishop (Jason Statham) returns as the Mechanic in the sequel to the 2011 global hit. When someone from his past forces him back into the business, Bishop has to complete an impossible list of assassinations of the most dangerous men in the world.
