We decided to get hold of few sneakerheads and collectors to ask them about their everyday shoes, known to the Sneaker World as “Beaters”…those that you don’t mind lacing up almost everyday.

Beaters: Air Jordan 4 OG “White Cement” and Asics Gel-Lyte III “Triple White”
Jordan 4 “White Cement” – The Jordan 4 is definitely the reason I became a sneakerhead, its the first Jordan I owned and the first real sneaker I was proud enough to show off on casual days in primary school. Although I have a few Jordan’s and I like many of them, I prefer the shape and style of the 4s with most of my outfits, so they have become my beaters. I went through a few Jordan 4’s over the years, even the Alternate 89’s that were released this year, I ruined most if not all of them, so I had to pick up a few fresh pairs of Jordan 4 White Cements.

Cloudy soles and everything
I rock these a lot cause the bubble is nice and visible yet cloudy. The comfortable as hell the 3m pops amazingly. They go with everything no need to think about clothes to match with it and they rare noticeable kicks. Still a clean silhouette with great appeal especially in CPT where bubbles are life
I’m not really heavy on shoes that’s why the soles and uppers are in such good nick but inside they shaped to my feet already.

Beaters: Nike Air Max 1 Premium “Black Metallic Silver” and Air Jordan 3 Retro “True Blue”
Air Max 1 Premium …It’s black, it’s pretty self explanatory.
Air Jordan 3 Retro “True Blue”…It’s old, I dropped paint on them once and it was never the same after that. They’re paint shoes now.

Beaters: Vans Old Skool and Air Jordan 6 Retro ‘Black/Infrared23’
The Vans Old skools cos they cheap, comfy and go with everything and infrared 6’s cos I doubled up ? so I’m gonna wear these out. If I had the budget or more pairs tho I’d wear ultra boosts as my beaters.
The Humble LORD VEEZUS

Beaters: New Balance 1500 x Nice Kicks and New Balance 999 x Sneaker Politics
I “The Humble Lord” would class as my beaters would have to be the New Balance 1500 X Nice Kicks, I love the grey with red detailing & that hint of 3M so when the flash hits it’s a super “NiceKicks”
I’d also rock my New Balance 999 X Sneaker Politics as one of my everyday sneakers, they classy and comfy. Big S/O to Zaid from Lost Property for this one.

Beaters: Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Moire “Brigade Blue”
My beaters are my Air max 1’s Ultra Moire in blue. I have always loved the airmax and the UMs are amazingly comfy and super easy to clean so I can really beat em up. They were also the 1st pair of my kicks that were regramed by @airmaxalways which was pretty cool.

The kick that I’ve worn the most on a day to day basis in the last 12 months is definitely the Adidas Ultra Boost.
I love everything about it. Fit, Durability, Design, Colourways…
I probably wear the OG Purple/Black colourway once a week. They’ve taken quite a beating and are still going.

I’m a big fan of 3 stripes but before the Tubulars,Boosts and all the new tech ,the most underrated comfort is from skate shoes they are made for hard conditions and are the ultimate Beaters.
The adidas Superskate SIEBEN is one of those joints.

Beaters: Air Jordan 3 Retro ’88 “White Cement”
The perfect shoe for streetwear cats. You can wear these with literally anything and they’ll look good. I like them so much I beat them to a pulp (I got a few DS pairs on deck though). Even when beat they still look fire on foot.

Beaters: Air Jordan 11 “Bred” and adidas Yeezy Boost 350 “Pirate Black”
My beaters of choice would be my Bred 11’s & my Pirate Black YeezyBoost 350’s because not only do they both look dope AF with literally anything, but they’re both mad comfortable. Bred 11’s definitely 1 of my favorite sneakers of time. Timeless silhouette in the greatest colorway.
The Yeezy Boosts have also grown on me a lot, besides the hype they’re just really badass sneakers. I fxxx with both these kicks a lot, I wear them atleast once a week each, every week without fail.

“I generally appreciate every pair of sneakers I own… but there is that 1 or 2 pairs that feel so Good, u just gotta wear them alot more than others.”
My current beaters are:
Yeezy 350 Pirate Black… I rock them with anything, gym, work, shopping, it doesnt matter , they got that comfort to the max, that slip on and go easiness… and they black all round, so I mess them up, walk wherever I need to, they still look good tho …
Tubular Defiant… this is 1 of them… I love them so much, I gotta rock them Alot! The look is too sleek for me, I love the bipolar colorway , they still have that same comfort and they versatile. As much as I wanna keep them looking good on ice, I can’t stop wearing them… Alot!

Beaters: adidas Ultra Boost “Cream/Off-White”
Beaters for me are a tough one purely because I try keep it rotating daily. I try my hardest to wear a different pair of kicks everyday of the week so we can keep them all looking semi fresh but saying that I must admit I find myself putting my adidas Ultraboost chalk/off white’s on very often. Ultras are by far the most comfortable shoe ever made and they are aesthetically pleasing with whatever you wear.
