Radio’s most recognizable jock – MacG had a sit down with the man of the moment in local Hip Hop ; Nasty C to talk about his music and the journey.
Have to say one of the most interesting interviews, MacG welcomed Nasty during his show on 94.7 to chat about his upcoming as kid, breaking into and pursuing career in Hip Hop, collaborations he has recorded so far.
Apart from what we have read on publications or media, On the interview Nasty C revealed interesting highlights about his career and current pending Roc Nation meeting.
– Nasty C started his Hip Hop career at a very young age , and scored his live performance when he was 16 , and it was a crowd of not more than 20 people.
– Before being exposed to major social media platforms, Nasty C believed and used to distribute / share his music through Bluetooth and later moved to BBM and Mxit
– Back then Nasty shared a close work relationship with AKA, and he used to open for him during most of his performances in Durban
– His first attempt to work with Cassper Nyovest was not successful, but Cassper reached out to him to applaud him on sick flows
– There was someone (not revealed) who was actually suppose to be on the ‘Juice Back’ remix, besides Cassper Nyovest and DAVIDO
– His second smash single ‘Hell Naw’ was wrapped up in just one night, a day before his birthday, and he released it on his birthday to thank his fans……Well loook at how it blew
– Nasty C received an unexpected call from RocNation Africa, who were requested by RocNation International to connect them with him. Nasty spoke to Jay’z cousin on that call , which they told him they want to have a meetup with him
