It’s the #SAMA22 weekend and all roads are off to to Durban. Somizi and Thando Thabethe have been announced as the hosts for the awards ceremony.
One can say atleast we got to see some change this year, rather than same old faces all time. The two will be joined by Khanyi Mbau and Phat Joe who will be doing backstage interviews with the winners.
This year’s nominees saw Afro-soul newcomer Nathi, house music head Black Coffee, rappers Riky Rick and Emtee, and songbird Zonke Dikana dominate the nominations. And only on Saturday we will get to see who will be the big winner.
Bonang Matheba will also join to host the Red carpet revealing who’s got the hottest outfit.
The main awards ceremony is set to take place this Saturday, 04 June at the new venue being the Durban International Convention Centre (Durban ICC).
The awards will also broadcast LIVE on SABC 1. So be sure not to miss out on this.
