Good times for local Hip Hop and ofcourse rapper eMTee. The popular rapper is celebrating another milestone of his career even after cleaning out all big awards from 2015 -2016. Now his debut album ‘Avery’ has just reached platinum status selling over 40 000 copies. Recording Industry of South Africa (RISA) confirmed with awarding his record label , Ambitiouz Entertainment with a platinum certificate which you can see below. As a trade association that represents the collective interests of producers of music sound recordings, major and independent record labels in Mzansi, RISA is responsible for acknowledging certification awards for album sales.
eMTee released ‘Avery’ titled after his son last year (2015). The album delivers best material eMTee has been working on including his latest smash singles; Pearl Thusi, Roll Up with a remix version which features Wizkid and AKA. Other featured artists includes Nasty C, Nomdumiso and Fifi Cooper.
Current single which is about to blow up next from the album is already on blast ‘Five-0’, don’t say we didn’t tell you.
