Our movie of this week; Fun and horrific Ghostbusters! Thirty years after the original film took the world by storm, Ghostbusters is back and fully rebooted for a new generation.
Director Paul Feig combines all the paranormal fighting elements that made the original franchise so beloved with a cast of new characters, played by the funniest actors working today. Get ready to watch them save the world this winter.
The movie tells a story of Paranormal researcher Abby Yates (Melissa McCarthy) and physicist Erin Gilbert who are trying to prove that ghosts exist in modern society. When strange apparitions appear in Manhattan, Gilbert and Yates turn to engineer Jillian Holtzmann for help. Also joining the team is Patty Tolan, a lifelong New Yorker who knows the city inside and out. Armed with proton packs and plenty of attitude, the four women prepare for an epic battle as more than 1,000 mischievous ghouls descend on Times Square. Ghostbusters will officially hit local cinemas next week, from 29 July.
