It’s a great year so far for local film-makers. So far we have enjoyed ‘Happiness Is A Four-Letter Word’ and ‘Mrs Right Guy’ which were both cooked right here in Mzansi and got theatrical release.
Now you can look forward to another action packed local film – Dora’s Peace set to hit cinemas on 26 August 2016.
Directed by Konstandino Kalarytis, Dora’s Peace is an action/drama film about a Hillbrow prostitute who uses the knowledge she has gained from working the streets to protect a talented young boy from the violent world of organized crime. The movie is a co-production by One Man Band and the National Film and Video Foundation and was written by Andrew Herold.
The cast includes: Khabonina Qubeka, Danny Keogh, Hlubi Mboya, Ronnie Nyakale, Molefi Monaisa, Paballo Koza, Meren Reddy, Denel Honeyball, Israel Makoe, Tinah Mnumzana, Yule Masiteng, Manaka Ranaka, Masilo Magoro, Blessed Boshomane, Omo Kondile, Sebelethu Bonkolo.
