From today, 947 former Highveld will be making changes to their on-air line up. The newly refreshed line up that will put the irrepressible Greg & Lucky on weekday lunch, from 12h00 to 15h00, Monday to Friday.
Greg and Lucky have built an impressive fanbase with their unpredictable, playful nighttime show on 947 for the past three years. Their move to the lunchtime slot makes space for a fresh new pairing: Zweli Mbhele and Mantsoe Pout, who will take over the 19h00 to 22h00 shift with The Night Show on 947.
Zweli Mbhele will be familiar to 947 audiences as he was a member of the 947 crew for three years, and hosted the early weekend breakfast show. Mantsoe Pout joined the station earlier this year from Yfm’s breakfast show and has been hosting weekend nights.
In addition to hosting the weeknight show, from Monday to Thursday, Zweli and Mantsoe will also host the Shazam Chart show, which moves from Sunday afternoon at 16h00 to Sunday morning from 10h00 to 12h00.
The station also announced that Zama Dube will be hosting early breakfast on weekdays, from 04h00 to 06h00. Zama joined the station from Yfm earlier this year and will bring a youthful energy to early breakfast.
