Following the success of her club tour, Port Elizabeth’s singer and song writer Lady X answers the call from her fans and is officially releasing ‘Zono Zininzi’ as a free download to thank them for their support.
The soulful and tribal house music queen describes ‘Zono Zininzi’ as her way of paying homage to her ancestors, her reality, traditions, culture, being proudly Xhosa and African. This bare footed multi talented beauty set the industry ablaze with her singles ‘Xivumba’, ‘Loving You’, ‘Who’ and followed that up with ‘Seasons’. She might not be your typical “IT” girl but she is in a league of her own.
She is all about self-love and being true to ones roots and this vibrates through her music, fashion and stage presence and it is the reason she leaves her heart on stage with each performance. Lady X’s musical journey has been very fruitful and has resulted in her working with industry who’s who and dropping numerous hits both nationally and internationally.
Her future goals stretch beyond her musical abilities as she aspires to be a content producer. Following the completion of her course at On Cue communications, her fans will be happy to know that she will be on radio soon as an on air presenter/ personality and on the small screen as presenting is her new found talent.
