Multiple award-winning reality TV show, Ultimate Braai Master is back for a brand new fifth season, with exciting game dynamics and lots of twists and turns along the way.
Created by Cooked in Africa Films, and hosted by SA celebrity bush cook Justin Bonello, this season promises bigger and better entertainment, with a host of surprizes but with the same ol’ Braai Gees.
As part of a new and exciting format, this year’s prizes are bigger and better than ever before with over R1 000 000.00 in prizes at stake. The main haul for first place includes:
– R400,000 in cash
– R200,000 in the form of vouchers from our new food sponsor Game Stores
– A brand new Suzuki Grand Vitara.
– And a host of other prizes that that will be revealed in the show.
Auditions were held at the beginning of this year. Out of hundreds of applicants from across the country, only 10 teams of 2 will get to battle it out against each other – one braai at a time.
As a new addition to this year’s format, we’ve given each team their own Facebook page. This way, our online community can get an insiders account as to what it’s like to be part of the adventure of a lifetime.
Who will be the Judge?
Alongside outdoor enthusiast, chef and host Justin Bonello, Kitchen Cowboy himself, Pete Goffe-Wood to the judges panel and the Tsogo Sun’s very own executive chef, Benny Masekwameng. Both personalities are familiar faces in television and culinary circles and will be a tremendous asset to the show and the contestants.
