Just days after announcing that her smash hit ‘Wololo’ has reach over 2 million views on YouTube – Babes Wodumo has been hit with some sad news.
Her music video for ‘Wololo’ has been taken off YouTube. This occurs after Mausay Media revealed that in 2015 there was a song released by Wyzle with same title under MausayRecords.
Cobus Burger, MD at Mausay Media spoke to Metro FM and confirmed the news that ‘Wololo’ has been copyrighted and they did try to make contact with Babes’s record label – West Ink. After failed attempts they reported the matter to YouTube which then had to take the video down.
Nothing has been heard from Babes Wodumo or West Ink records.
