After much anticipation, finally we get to bang the new Davido’s collabo with Tinashe.
Few months back we did tell you about this collaboration. The official music video of the single ‘How Long’ has been released together with the single itself, appearing on Davido’s new EP – Son of Mercy. Produced by Spellz, the single presents soulful and jazzy afro beats , with a flow of house music.
Davido: For the song, I recorded that record about a year ago. One of the executives at Sony International had the record. He played it for Tinashe, and he asked me if I would like to put her on the record. I thought it was a great idea. We just did it. We shot the video in Malibu. It was beautiful. I feel like it’s something different. I call it Afro Fusion. It has all kinds of music. It has the Afrobeats, it has the house music. Everything just fused together.
The black and white visuals are shot at Malibu , shows both stars on the beach setup with the love mood , riding in a motorcycle and a horse. Well check out the music video below
