Gauteng Maboneng returns for another brand new season. And this time there’s more fun on set and new faces joining the cast.
The new season introduces new faces; Dirk played by veteran actor David Sherwood, Karabo played by Liopelo Maphathe, Rain played by Shaeleen Tobin, Karma played by Phindile Zwane, Nala played by Palesa Sekati. This is the new family that has been added this season housed in the plush suburbs of Houghton.

The new season of Gauteng Maboneng premieres on SABC 2 on Sunday, 13th November 2016, at 19h00.
Gauteng Maboneng is a laugh-out-loud sitcom about the lovable car mechanic and wannabe rapper from Maftown, Lebo (played by Dr Malinga), who brings his aging Gogo (Linda Sebezo) and scheming best friend Solomon (Mandla Gaduka) with him when he moves to Gauteng and finds out that his uncle has died and left him a fortune. The only catch is that Lebo has to look after his nerdy teenage niece, Sisi (Palesa Ntshihlele), while dodging his uncle’s gold digging ex-wife Pearl (played by Noxolo Maqashalala), and at the same time trying to charm Sisi’s after school tutor, Thami (Chumisa Cosa)…All this while keeping the hunky kid from next door, Mo (now played by Oros Mampofu) away from his niece.
