TV is becoming an ATM for top talent and that’s what Hollywood Reporter reveals in lengthy exploration of what it refers to as the “Golden Age of Television.”
According to the report, Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Lena Headey and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau of ‘Game of Thrones’ fame each take away $1.1 million per episode.
Other key findings include The Walking Dead actors Norman Reedus and Andrew Lincoln making $550,000 and $650,000 USD for seasons seven and eight, Dwayne Johnson making $450,000 USD for Ballers, and Kiefer Sutherland getting $300,000 USD for Designated Survivor.
Robert De Niro is getting $750,000 USD for each of 20 episodes of an upcoming Amazon series produced by filmmaker David O. Russell, Jonah Hill and Emma Stone are set to make $350,000 USD for their Netflix project, Maniac, and Meryl Streep is said to have commanded a whopping $825,000 USD per episode to sign on for J.J. Abrams’ miniseries The Nix.
