In October Toshi released her long awaited Album ‘Ubuhle Bendalo’.
The album features the hit single; “Uyankenteza” on which she collaborated with Angolan producer/dj’s; Afro Warriors. On Uyankenteza Toshi unleashed her true talent, Unique Voice and Style creating a frenzy for the female talent and her music. To date Uyankenteza can be found on 3 albums namely Dj Mbuso’s Phezulu Selection 4, Dj Fresh House Flava 9 and her own.
Apart from these compilations Uyankenteza has numerous Unofficial Remixes which have made it to the dance scenes and radio mega mixes.
Uyankenteza is a hit and since its release has been on circulation on all major radio stations. We see possible Award nominations for the single and Album next year.
Toshi is a woman with a big dream and keen vision. she set out to make her mark and has done so with her talent, hit and collaborations across Africa.
The journey to the inevitable release of her album, “Ubuhle Bendalo” was long and strenuous but worth it. The album received and keeps receiving great reviews all around and on social media. On it she worked with Afro Wariors, Xolisa, Eltonick, Da Capo, C-Major, Stones & Bones and Diamantopoulos & Chris Deepak.
The KwaLanga Township born Musician has always been passionate about music through her journey in life and proves it when she gets behind the Microphone on stage and in the studio. 2017 is set to be a very big year for her following her album release, hit singles and collaborations which also include Black Motion on their hit single titled “The Journey” which is on their latest album, Ya Badimo. Toshi is a force to be reckoned with and has her mind set on taking a few nominations and awards in 2017.
