According to polygon, Nintendo’s newly launched console ‘Nintendo Switch’ has sold over 1.5 million units.
This is just after a week after the console has launched worldwide.

It’s reported that 500,000 consoles were sold in the United States and 360,000 in Japan. In addition, the number includes European sales, which all comes down to 1.5 million. All of these sales figures come from the console’s launch week at retail, making them a few days old.
By end of the first month, Nintendo is expected to have sold 2 million units.

The detailed figures are only expected to be revealed by this month end, by Nintendo.
