Launched August year, Touch Central is undergoing a revamp and will soon have a new look with a new line-up.
Now called TOUCH HD, the station will officially announce all the details at a special event set for Tuesday, 28 March 2017 in Sandton.
TOUCH HD is set to continue being a pioneer in the African digital online radio space with a stronger focus on being the go-to source for fresh content in the urban African and cosmopolitan youth market. This is by delivering the highest quality of music, current affairs, lifestyle and entertainment news from the continent.
The re-imagined line-up will also include some of the best talents that the continent has to offer, emphasising once again that this is not JUST radio, it’s a digital lifestyle. The station will continue being available through mobile (phone), online streaming, podcasting and digital audio broadcasting, with additional platforms, planned at a later stage to make digital radio more accessible.
TOUCH HD app will be far more interactive than the current one. Listeners will now be able to actively engage with each other on a range of topics being discussed during live programming, through a new in app live chat service feature. Podcasts can now be downloaded directly from the app onto the user’s mobile device. The newly introduced lifestyle and events section will provide listeners with the latest information about upcoming events and lifestyle-related news from the various shows.
