What is your all time Favorite Air Max Model & why?
Justin – Bubble Koppe: Air Total Max Uptempo “Neon” – Probably still one of the craziest looking Nikes in their catalogs. It was ahead of its time. The full-length Total Air was nuts, imagine back when it launched in 1997. This pair is still top for me.
Eric Leeson: My favorite Air Max has to be the Air Max 97 because it was the first air max to come out with a full air bubble.
Hayden Manuel: I like weird and obscure stuff, so for me, it’ll be models like the Air Max TL, Air Max Deluxe, Tuned Max, Air Max 03 & 04. More mainstream models would be Air Max 1s, 95 & 97
Danny K: The Airmax 90 Moon landing. Because it was the first time iv ever been totally fascinated by an air max. Art on a sneaker!
For this year’s Air Max Releases (Air Max 1 OG, Master, Atmos, VapourMax…etc), which is one your fav for 2017 & Why?
Justin – Bubble Koppe: I am a purist when it comes to Air Max silhouettes. The Air Max 1 “OG” is a favorite of mine. It was the wildcard, it was the rebels choice of footwear at the time it originally released. It’s a fashion icon and in 30 years it still looks as fresh as ever
Eric Leeson: I’m really excited to have the VaporMax in my hand. The air pods to me are pure crack. The sleek sock-like design really is cool.
Hayden Manuel: The Commes Des Garcon Vaporwave is lit and of course the Atmos 1 because it really is a legendary colourway.
Danny K: Gotta go for the Atmos, the Elephant print on air max 1..pure dopness. That blue (jade) also just pops!
During the 2016 Nike Air Max Vote Back Contest, I would have liked to see Air Max……… return, because……..
Justin – Bubble Koppe: I love obscure Air Max models, I love the unpopular runners and wacky designs. My pick for the contest was the Air Max 98 TL. It was a shoe I remember drooling over as a kid, and it has never retroed. I’m a big fan of the TL (Total Air) series. The shoe colourway is also quite unique and eye catching.
Eric Leeson: I would have liked to see the Air Max Light return because it’s not a really really popular model but to me, the shape and the cut are something that really excites me.
Hayden Manuel: I voted for the 95 Z because I’m a sucker for kicks that have a shroud.
Danny K: I voted for the Moon landing…Well obviously
That’s a wrap from us, you can also let us know about your Air Max grails of all time.
