Twitter has made an announcement, that it will be going in partnership with Live Nation to exclusively livestream video of concerts, TechCrunch reports. The stream will include live concerts from artists such as Train, August Alsina, Marian Hill and more. The streaming service will debut on Saturday, 13 May, with Zac Brown Band’s performance. TechCrunch reveals that
“7 out of 10 of the most followed Twitter users are musicians, and Billboard’s Grammy Awards live pre-show was the most viewed entertainment live stream on Twitter to date.”
This move will be part of Twiter’s plan for live premium video content, to cover MTV Awards, Fashion Week in New York, Paris, London, and Milan.
