South African fans who are anticipating on Tupac’s biopic ‘All Eyez on Me,’ will have 2 more weeks to wait.
Ster-Kinekor confirmed that it will be showing the movie from Friday, 30 June.
‘All Eyez on Me’ an upcoming biopic, which captures the complicated life of Shakur will officially be released by Lionsgate on Youth Day – 16 June 2017. This is the same time that would have been his 46th birthday.
The film tells the true and untold story of the prolific rapper, actor, poet and activist Tupac Shakur.
The film follows Shakur from his early days in New York City to his evolution into being one of the world’s most recognized and influential voices before his untimely death at the age of 25. Against all odds, Shakur’s raw talent, powerful lyrics and revolutionary mind-set propelled him into becoming a cultural icon whose legacy continues to grow long after his passing.
All Eyes On Me is directed by Benny Boom and stars Demetrius Shipp Jr. who plays the role of Tupac and Kat Graham as Jada Pinkett.
