Babes Wodumo has decided to get herself a management team and she has officially signed with Farah Fortune’s PR agency –
African Star Communications.

The Durban Based songstress entered the music industry in 2014 when she was featured on Sir Burbzin’s Gold selling single ‘Desha’ where she led the song with a catchy hook, alongside the likes of DJ Tira and Big Nuz. Babes was later featured on one of Big Nuz’s hit single ‘Tsegetsege’ off their album ‘For The Fans’ which competed for ‘Song of The Year’ at Ukozi FM, taking 4th place.

In 2016, Babes Wodumo signed to West Ink Records where she released her multi-nominated debut hit single ‘Wololo’ featuring Big Nuz’s, Mampintsha. The street anthem was the debut single off her debut album ‘Gqom Queen Vol.1’ which received the ‘Best Dance Album’, ‘Best Female Album’ & ‘Best New Artist’ nominations at the MMA16. Her second single ‘Mercedes’ which was released in September 2016 features up-coming kwaito musician Madanon and Mampintsha.

Babes is extremely passionate about her community and youth as a whole, which lead her to start an NPO that focuses on youth development through arts and awareness programs. She gives weekly dance lessons at the Bat Centre in Durban to young boys and girls in order to keep them off the street and being influenced by negativity.

“We are really excited to be working with Babes, as we have been in talks for quite some time now. We look forward to a fruitful relationship & hope to continue growing the Babes Wodumo brand”

says Justine Abrahams, Head Celebrity Publicist.
