There’s a new local film in the making and definitely one to look forward to.
Very well know actor – Jafta Mamabolo will present a new film ‘He Who is without Sin.’ Mamabolo wrote and co-directs this film, which is inspired by ‘Crime and Punishment’ – an 1886 novel by the Russian author Fyodor Dostoyevsky.
‘He Who is without Sin’ cast will include; Samkelo Ndlovu, Mandla Gaduka and Kenneth Nkosi.
So what is the film all about?
The film tells a story of Freedom (played my Mamabolo), a university student who ends up in trouble with loan-shark, Alina.
Freedom finds himself with a lot of money which she found at Alina’s flat, whom he accidentally murdered after a heated argument.
While going up and down the city, he meets Sonia – a student who is now a sex worker – and hopes to save her.
Tendeka Matatu, Dumi Gumbi and Catharina Weinek are producers of the film. At this stage, there is no release date for the film.
