Mi Casa has just released their fourth LP titled ‘Familia.’
This album is a follow up of their 2015 project ‘Home Sweet Home’ which did incredibly well. ‘Familia’ is packed with 8-tracks and the over all sound combines local elements of jazz, Afro house and gospel with more exotic references to the music of Brazil and the Cape Verde. The album is led by ‘Nana’ as the first track, which effortlessly showcases the band’s trademark sound, Dr Duda’s production, J’Something’s cool vocals and Mo-T’s infectious trumpet playing to full effect.
