Cassper Nyovest stopped by at The Breakfast Club to have a conversation with Charlamagne tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee.
On the interview, Cassper talked about his Fill Up Shows, local music industry, investing in himself as an independent artist, going global, Kanye West’s copying his stage Show, his past collaborations with international acts, content on Thuto album and ofcourse the ladies. Unfourtaneltyl he didn’t want to say anything about his beef with AKA, coz he feels he will be promoting him for free.

AG Mobile made half a billion from their deal
“I designed my own phone I collaborated with a company called AG Mobile It was very fruitful collaboration..they made like half a billion from the collaboration”
Cassper says It’s not important for him to break through in America
“Not anymore, it used to be”
Payola messed the game up
“Hip Hop was never that relevant until we came…”
“It was going well until you know corporates came and just bought Hip Hop and certain acts were given huge amounts of money then they bought into the radio space and now its just like all about money”
Cassper says he would not sign to any African label unless a US label
“I wouldn’t sign to any African label coz I mean I’m doing pretty well”
His Fill Up FNB Stadium Concert will take place in December and it will be an African Jungle theme
Cassper confirmed the concert will take place ofcourse at FNB Stadium on Saturday, 02 December, he even went as far as saying it will be cool to have Charlamagne to come and MC.
As part of the trip, Cassper will perform together with Tiwa Savage, Davido, Tekno, Psquare and more at the One Africa Music Festival which will take place this weekend in Brooklyn, New York.
