This past weekend we stopped by at Levi’s® Tailor Shop (in Braamfontein) to get our denim jackets customized and have that YMZ flavor.
The Tailor Shop opened its doors on Friday, 15 September 2017 to the public and will be open until mid-October 2017. Since Levi’s® is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Type III Trucker jacket, they decided to give their fans a platform to showcase their creativity or even get it done by your favorite artist.
We visited the Shop on Friday and Saturday, and we got to meet Seth Pimentel aka African Ginger who’s an illustrator. He was the artist for the day and some of the fans were there to get their denim jackets worked out by Seth.
To share with you here’s our experience and an inside look at the shop:
You can still stop by at Levi’s® Tailor Shop till October and below are the artists you should check out :
– 30 September – Sakhile Cebekhulu offering screen printing
– 07 October – Rina & Dimo of Rich Factory sewing African prints
