As we anticipate the upcoming sequel of Blade Runner 2049, Johnnie Walker decided to add a twist to this.
They just launched Johnnie Walker Black Label The Director’s Cut limited edition. The edition will introduce a unique bottle designed by Jim Beveridge and director Denis Villeneuve. There will only be 39,000 bottles available worldwide and each contains a hammering 49% alcohol, that’s 9% stronger than the normal whiskey (yes it’s the 49 from the movie title).
“Blade Runner” is a classic sci-fi film, and Diageo is betting that the update to the franchise will gain new fans as well as evoke feelings of nostalgia in those who loved the original. The limited-edition Black Label product hits a number of notes for a special product release, including its distinctive custom packaging.
