Unveiled last week, this exclusive Nike Air Force 1 ‘BHM Africa’ celebrates the 35th anniversary of the iconic Air Force 1 and the global black history movement.
We are part of the 35 young South African’s who received a pair and we’ve decided to put together some dope shots and a closer look at this iconic Air Force 1.
The silhouette features a graphic marbleized print of South Africa’s national flag on the inner and outer of the all-black nubuck upper which rests upon a crisp white sole. A gold hang-tag of the African continent motif with BHM emblazoned across it and the lace lock made up of tri-colors red, black and green inspired by the Pan-African flag also known as the Black Liberation Flag complete the sneaker. The sock liner has the ‘equality’ message across it.
Less than 40 units of this Air Force 1 were produced and for those looking to pick up a pair, unfortunately, this won’t be hitting retailers.
So here’s a CLOSER LOOK + ON-FEET of the Nike Air Force 1 ‘BHM Africa’:
