Amsterdam streetwear label Daily Paper and Alpha Industries have come together to design a bomber jacket to reimagine Zambian scientist Edward Nkoloso’s dream to go to space.
The limited edition jackets feature embroidered patches blending African-inspiration and the brand’s logo with galactic imagery. The bomber is reversible with the classic Daily Paper pattern on the inside.
The collaboration was inspired by scientist Edward Nkoloso’s 1960s dream to build Zambia’s first space program so that he could send his “Afronants” to Mars.
The MA-1 bomber is now available on Daily Paper’s online shop for R4399,09 (including shipping).
