Moozlies long-awaited mixtape project is here!
Titled ‘VERSUS,’ the project features 11 new and solid tracks which showcase Moozlie’s growth as a musician. This includes her lead singles Ride or Die and Recipe. Featured acts on this project include; Gemini Major, Yung Swiss, Victoria Kimani to mention a few.
On this mixtape Moozlie explored different sounds but still keeping her style up high and that’s what you notice from opening track Getting Cash. This is a combo of trap vs the norm Rap sound and addition of Ragga, Carribean flow and old skool R&B flavour. Jams like Look Who’s At The Top, Trophy and BumBum kinda reminds you of TLC, SWV, MC Lyte rap style. And this is what makes Moozlie’s style so stirring to accommodate any type of beat and sound. She made a good choice by offering a mixtape at this stage, so people can understand her style better, before dropping a debut album. Recent collaborations did justice for her to put her name in the scene, but that is not enough catalogue to put on her shoulders.
