The eighth season of Shameless just premiered on our screens a week ago.
Now, Showtime has renewed the hit series for Season nine.
The Season 8 premiere of the show delivered a 50 percent year-over-year growth for the series. Production on season nine of Shameless will begin in 2018.
Shameless is ranked Showtime’s no. 1 comedy and attracts the youngest audience. The 7th season attracted 6.5 million viewers tuning in each week.
Along with Macy and Rossum, the series stars Jeremy Allen White, Ethan Cutkosky, Shanola Hampton, Steve Howey, Emma Kenney, Cameron Monaghan and Isidora Goreshter.
