UPDATE: 21/11/2018 – Julius Malema and the EFF team have reached out to help rapper – Fifi Cooper who was recently slapped with a very harsh court interdict by Ambitiouz Entertainment for breach of contract.
Malema shared on Twitter, that a legal team has been put together to help Fifi.
“We are always on the side of the weak and the dejected. Wipe your tears African Girl, very soon you will sing your beautiful songs again. Proper legal team is assembled to help #FifiCooper against the powerful. #JusticeForFifiCooper”
he tweeted.
Ambitiouz Entertainment just made things nastier for their former artist – Fifi Cooper.
She got served with a court interdict by the label for breach of contract.
If you remember, back in February, Fifi together with B3nchmarq, and A-Reece parted ways with the label. And as expected, this raised a lot of questions on what the heck is going on at Ambitiouz camp. It was just later when details were revealed that it’s all about money issues (see full story here).
Now on this matter…
The label went on to Twitter to post the official statement released by the Gauteng High Court regarding this matter. Going through the statement, Fifi Cooper has been ordered to stop performing any song she recorded while she was at Ambitiouz.
She is interdicted and also restrained from making any representations, on any media claiming ownership of the copyright and is to delete all the sound recordings in her possession under control.
More harming, Fifi will pay damages and royalties to Ambitiouz, and it doesn’t end there:
Lastly, she is ordered to pay legal costs of the Ambitiouz Entertainment, including costs of two Advocates.
