The roundtable discussion started yesterday on MTV when a panel of local artists and industry experts had to sit down and compile the top 10 SA Hottest MCs for 2017.
The panel included; Slikour, Thabiso Khati, DJ Speedsta, Fred Kayembe, Caron Williams and iFani who had to put out a list of Mcs who made a major impact in 2017 based on 6 key criteria: impact, lyrics, sales, buzz, style and other ‘intangibles’ that make them stand out from the crowd.
After the long discussion, Kwesta saw the win this year and was crowned 2017 Hottest Mc in South Africa….yea just like SWAY did, so who was to deny him the spot.
A new name that is appearing on the list for the first time is Youngsta CPT, who was put on spot number 10. Hmmm….ok
