OUR EXPERIENCE AT: AFROPUNK Battle Of The Bands, Amplified by Hunter’s Edge

This past Saturday we went to check AFROPUNK Battle Of The Bands, Amplified by Hunter’s Edge.
This super music show took place at Mehlareng Stadium (Tembisa) as part of the Street Food Market Fest.

The top 16 bands competed in a series of Battle of the Bands events which took place over a period of four weeks and the top five competitors were battling it out for the final round.

Future kwaito creators Stiff Pap and kasi rock act Automatic Live were crowned the winners of the battle. They will join Solange, Anderson .Paadk and The Free Nationals, King Tha Vs Blk Jks, Petite Noir, Blitz The Ambassador, Laura Mvula, Black Motion, Theo Parrish, The Brother Moves On, Nakhane, Spoek Mathambo, OKZharp & Manthe Ribane, Nonku Phiri, Gods Sons and Daughters, DJ Lag, DJ Doowap, DJ Kenzhero, Kid Fonque, Urban Village and others on the AFROPUNK Joburg stages.

AFROPUNK Joburg will take place on the 30th and 31st of December at Constitution Hill.
