Just in, the Swoosh has unveiled the fourth uniform category, The Nike NBA City Edition uniforms.
The latest City Edition uniforms represent insights and emotion from the court to the upper deck to the cities’ streets, in pursuit of a unique way to capture each team and its city in a way that respects the past and present of the clubs while also positioning them for the future.

In celebration of Chinese heritage in the Bay Area, the Golden State Warriors will wear alternate uniforms for select games during the 2017-18 season.
THE BAY AREA
Proud residents of Oakland, the Warriors have represented the entire Bay Area since their arrival on the West Coast in 1962. The Warriors relocation coincided with the birth of San Francisco’s Chinatown, a population that brought diversity to the city and quickly grew in size and impact — and is a central influence for the team’s City Edition uniform, which pays tribute to Chinese culture in the Bay Area and icons of prosperity.
MATERIALS & TECHNOLOGY
This edition of the Swingman NBA Connected jersey feature stretch knit with engineered mesh as determined by extensive sweat-mapping studies. The jersey and the short include Dri-FIT ® technology that wicks sweat away moisture from your skin to help you stay dry and comfortable.
This more casual jersey option offers most of the fabric features the authentic jersey does, but gives you a slightly different look and feel. The fabric and mesh are different and offers a perfect comfortable option for wearing around through the day.
This Swingman version doesn’t feature stitched branding and AeroSwift technology.

DESIGN & COLORS
The jersey is gold in colour – very bright and bold with navy blue and red trim on the sides and around the neck. “The Bay” phrase stands out in royal on the front of the jersey inscribed above a logo in homage to entire Bay Area, which boasts the top three out of five Asian populations in the United States in Oakland, San Francisco and San Jose.
The jersey is completed with a Nike Swoosh logo appearing on the front, the NBA Logo on the back as well as the player name and numbers (Curry 30 and Durant 35).
The shorts are also gold and feature the Chinese characters representing prosperity along the waistband. Other notable details include Nike Swoosh and NBA logo.

FINAL THOUGHTS – JERSEY
As far a the regular consumer for an R899.99 to spend this is a perfect jersey to rock on a day out with some fresh kicks. This is a win, the jersey looks good and clean and we would recommend it. Go for it if you can.
The fit is not as snug as the authentic jersey (which is more performance driven), it’s more of a loose fit and a little more free around the shoulders area and the waist area which is a perfect comfortable option for wearing through the day.
With regards to the sizing/fit – the jersey fits TRUE TO SIZE, so we would recommend buying your normal size.
