Cassper Nyovest is currently pushing his latest single ‘ Baby Girl’ in the spotlight, and this is much noticed on TV and radio.
But more surprising, youth-radio station – YFM which is popular for having ‘no boundaries’ when it comes to exposing new talent – is currently not playing Cassper’s music. And the rapper himself has a better explanation why such is happening. He went on Twitter to call out the station for being ‘Bullies’ and sidelining him.
He reveals that such is because he chose the rival broadcaster SABC1 to sponsor his 2017 mega concert ‘Fill Up FNB Stadium.’
“.@Yfm doesn’t play my music cause SABC1 sponsored #FillUpFnbStadium and I tweeted about it and now they want me to apologize. They are a very strong platform that I used to love but they are Bullies!!! We gone Stay Shinning though,” he tweeted.
Cassper revealed this after a fan asked why the station was not playing ‘Baby Girl’ which is currently on rotation.
And Cassper had to make it clear: “Baby Girl is the 9th most played song in the country right now!!! Organic growth from all the way at the bottom. The music speaks for itself!!! Thank you to the fans for keeping the music alive.”
