Naija Superstar – Niniola is headed to South Africa in March.
The ‘Maradona’ singer will perform at the annual SA Music Carnival (which is also Mahoota’s Birthday Celebration) which will take place on 16 March 2018 at Taboo Night Club.
The carnival celebration always brings the supernova experience from fashion theme, glitz and glamour. Fans who will be attending can look forward to Niniola’s performance when she brings on the Naija flavour combined with your usual House music flavour.
Niniola describes her style of music as “Afro-House”, a blend of afrobeat and house music. And her lyrics are mostly in her dialect – Yoruba language. She came to the scene as a ballerdeer, went on to participate as a contestant on the 2013 Project Fame West Africa. Her musical career went sky-high when she met the super-talented producer; Sarz. The same producer who did work on most of Wizkid’s projects including ‘Come Closer’ feat. Drake.
