Seems things are not so fine between Lerato Kganyago and Dineo Ranaka – hosts of Metro FM’s ‘The Bridge.’
The two hosts are at each other’s throats because of how things have turned sour off-air. A report by Sunday World reveals that they have fought on several occasions about running of the show and the two have allegedly requested the station to be in separate slots.
In one occasion Ranaka went straight to the programmes manager to complain that Kganyago cuts her off before she could finish talking, the report reveals. Further, sources within SABC revealed that Kganyago is the one with the issue and feels offended when people refer to the show as Dineo and Lerato show.
“She wants them to refer to it as Lerato and Dineo show. The programmes manager had to call them to a meeting to try to understand their problem.”
“Sometimes when he called those meetings, Lerato was not coming giving excuses that she had a TV show to do.”
Both Ranaka and Kganyago are still hosting the slot, and it will somehow come as no surprise if we see these two separated when the new lineup gets announced soon.
