To celebrate one of the most important and exciting basketball weeks, adidas Originals linked up with iconic Japanese streetwear brand A Bathing Ape (BAP), to create three exclusive sneakers.
The adidas Originals By Bape X Damian Lillard 4 made a debut this weekend, releasing globally and locally at Shelflife (Joburg & Cape Town), also online at adidas.co.za.
The models bring the design of Bape’s flagship Shark to Damian Lillard 4, taking inspiration from BAPE’s coveted iconic Shark design and its distinctive decorative elements. Each silhouette features BAPE® CAMO on the upper with BAPE®’s shark tooth design displayed along the shoe’s full-length BOUNCE midsole. WGM, symbolizing World Gone Mad, and the classic tiger ‘a’ icon are featured on the ankle piece. YKWYTII, Damian’s You Know What Time It Is moniker is printed on the heel tape while adidas, BAPE® and Damian’s signature marks are highlighted throughout.
