Well, seems local online music consumers got some exciting news on the way.
The giant music-streaming service, Spotify will soon be launching in South Africa, Stuff reports. According to Stuff, they’re convinced the service could launch before end of March 2018 because of an invitation (press briefing) they received for next Tuesday.
“Now we’re convinced we’ll see the service before the end of March. Why? Because we’ve had an invitation to a press briefing taking place in Johannesburg next Tuesday.”
Spotify will take on popular streaming services like Apple Music, Deezer,JOOX and others.
Spotify now has 71 million paid users while Apple Music is at an estimated 36 million paid subscribers.
