The giant music-streaming service, Spotify is now available and has gone live in South Africa and entire Africa.
Yes, you heard right, you can now download Spotify and start streaming music. We checked out their site (spotify.com/za) and it clearly shows that the service is live. The service offers a 30-day trial for their Premium package which costs R59.99 per month and you also have a Free package which is indeed free but with limited control and features.
Spotify will take on popular streaming services like Apple Music, Deezer,JOOX and others.
Spotify now has over 159 million active users, including over 71 million premium subscribers while Apple Music is at an estimated 36 million paid subscribers.
The app is available for both iOS and Android users.
